About Us

Lord Baden-Powell School first opened its doors in the city of Anaheim in 1966 and is a California Gold Ribbon School, recognized for the hard work and dedication of its staff, students, family, and community. We currently serve over 300 students in general and special education classrooms, preschool to sixth grade. We foster a culture of student leaders and learners where ALL students belong. We have a significant population of students with disabilities who are fully or partially included in general education classrooms. Our rich culture of inclusion has led to tremendous growth and learning opportunities for both special and general education students. Through Peer Assistance Leadership (PAL) and many other student club leadership opportunities such as Student Council, students develop and are able to demonstrate their leadership skills throughout the year. In addition, the district adopted Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) which is evident when walking through the campus. Students strive to achieve exemplary behavior and are recognized daily, both in classrooms and school-wide, for exhibiting the qualities of a Roadrunner - being Responsible, Safe, and showing Care.
